Parents

At the Academy, we consider parents our partners in education. We offer parents many different ways to be involved in the school. Every parent on every campus is automatically a member of the Parent-Teacher Organization, and we welcome parent participation in all school events and activities. A high level of parent involvement ensures that the Pope John Paul II Catholic Academy continues to be a strong and vibrant learning community, and that children will feel supported both in school and at home.

Each campus of the Pope John Paul II Catholic Academy will have a Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) to plan, organize, and sponsor events, fundraising and enrichment activities for parents and students.

PTOs

A Parent-Teacher Organization on each campus will meet monthly during the academic year. These meetings will provide parents a forum to exchange ideas and discuss topics of importance to the school as well as to plan events, fundraising, and enrichment activities for families and students. The Principal and teacher representatives will be in attendance at the monthly meetings to keep parents informed and to answer questions. The schedule and time of meetings will be determined by the Principal of each campus.
